Critical Techworks has solidified its place at the top of tech professionals' preferences in Portugal during the third quarter of the year. According to the latest data shared by the Teamlyzer platform, the company maintains the position it has held since 2024, standing out in the software sector.
Changes on the podium and new entries in the ranking
The landscape of the most sought-after tech companies has seen significant adjustments in this latest edition of the ranking. Revolut climbed the ranks and entered the podium, recording a 22% increase in search volume. Blip.pt also advanced in the table, now occupying second place. In contrast, Critical Software dropped out of the top three, falling to fifth position after a period of high search activity in the previous quarter.
The Teamlyzer survey, which analyzed a universe of 4,870 companies, also reveals relevant movement at other levels of the list. VW Group Digital Solutions and Bosch Portugal each climbed three positions, with the former now joining the top 10. The ranking also welcomed four new entries: Capgemini Engineering (15th), Sword Health (17th), BNP Paribas (18th), and Smart Consulting (19th). These shifts led to the exit of names such as Datadog, Inetum, Mercedes-Benz.io, and Tripadvisor & Viator from the list of the 20 most searched companies.
Sectors in the spotlight for IT recruitment in Portugal
The sector-based analysis offers a clear view of where talent interest is concentrated in the national market. While Feedzai dominates interest in the Information Technology area, Deloitte leads in IT Consulting & Outsourcing. In the Industry & Services sector, the preference falls on Bosch, while Revolut dominates the Banking and Financial Services segment.
Interest extends to areas such as Telecommunications & Electrical Engineering, where Intermedia Intelligent Communications, Nokia Portugal, and Vodafone Portugal stand out. In the field of Science & Research, the top 3 is composed of CEiiA, Promptly Health, and Hovione. The stability of Critical Techworks at the top, combined with the entry of new players onto professionals' radars, leaves an open question for the coming months: to what extent do these fluctuations reflect real changes in retention strategies and the attractiveness of each company for those seeking new opportunities in IT recruitment in Portugal.
